Homans, John, 1877-1954
Homans (Harvard, M.D. 1903) was clinical professor of surgery at Harvard Medical School and was surgeon-in-chief at Peter Bent Brigham Hospital in Boston, Mass. from 1913 to 1946. He was noted for his operations on blood vessels and specialized in research of the pancreas.
