Pudles, Daniel. illustrator
Born in Paris, Daniel Pudles spent his childhood in Brazil and America before returning to France to study at the Ecole Supérieure d'Arts Graphiques. In 1993 Pudles moved to London to work as an illustrator for a number of publications including The Daily Telegraph and The Economist. He began contributing to the Guardian's Comment pages in 1999 and his pieces regularly accompanied George Monbiot's Tuesday articles. Whilst in London he won three first prizes for illustration at the National Art Library Illustration Awards as well as the Victoria and Albert Illustration Award in 1996, 2001 and 2004. Pudles currently lives and works in Brussels.
