O'Brien, Cornelius, 1818-1869
Cornelius O'Brien was born in Ireland and moved to Dearborn County, Ind., in 1835. He held county offices as treasurer and clerk, was a delegate to the Democratic National Convention, and served two terms as a state senator. A successful lawyer in Lawrenceburgh, O'Brien also speculated in land.
