Warnke, Paul C., 1920-
Paul Culliton Warnke (1920-2001) was a lawyer and government official. He was general counsel at the Department of Defense from 1966 to 1967, and Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs from 1967 to 1969. He was director of the U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency from 1977 to 1978, and chief U.S. arms control negotiator from 1977 to 1978. He was a member of the Presidential Advisory Board on Arms Proliferation Policy from 1995 to 1996, and was a member of the Arms Control and Nonproliferation Advisory Board at the State Department in 1999.
