Errickson, Shirley
Artist; specialized in fashion, graphic design, and painting; taught fashion drawing at Rhode Island School of Design from 1945-1958 and freelanced as an illustrator and graphic designer for over 50 years. Among her many projects Errickson produced print media for Old Sturbridge Village and the Worcester Art Museum and began book design with her work for Barre Press. From 1972-1982 was creative director for Casual Corner Stores. Retired in 1987, moving to Durham, N.C., where she focused on her painting. Born in Worcester, Mass., 1926; died in 2009.
