Wiegand, Henry Hazlehurst, 1858-1943.

Henry H. Wiegand (1858?-1943) was trained as an electrical engineer at the Johns Hopkins University receiving his B.A. in 1885 and a Certificate of Proficiency in Applied Electricity in 1888. He studied under Henry Rowland and Louis Duncan. After graduating, he worked for Rowland's Multiplex Telegraphic Company and exhibited the telegraph at the Paris Exposition of 1900. Wiegand later manufactured engines and boilers in Baltimore.
