Weber, Marcia.

Marcia Weber, owner of the Marcia Weber/Art Objects gallery in Montgomery, Alabama, graduated in 1973 from Birmingham Southern College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. From 1982 to 1983, Weber served as the Assistant Curator of Education for the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts. In 1983, she became the Visual Arts Director for the Montgomery Performing Arts Company. In 1988, Weber was hired as Gallery Director for Leon Loard Gallery of Fine Arts. In 1991, Weber opened her own gallery, Marcia Weber Art Objects. As a gallery owner, Weber has been active in promoting the sale of southern "folk" or "outsider" art.
