United States. Office of Indian Affairs. Michigan Superintendency
The Michigan Superintendency was established in 1805, and abolished in 1851. A new Northern Superintendency was put in charge of Indian affairs in Michigan and Wisconsin, but the Michigan authority ended in 1853.
