Wilson, Richard, 1905-1981
Richard Lawson Wilson (1905-1981), journalist, was associated with the Des Moines Register and Tribune for almost fifty years as the newspaper's Washington bureau chief from 1933 to 1970. He received the Pulitzer Prize for national reporting in 1954 for his three-part exclusive series about Soviet espionage in the United States. Wilson also wrote a syndicated column and contributed to Look magazine.
