Rea, L. E. (Leonard Earl), b. 1897
Leonard Earl Rea (b. March 14, 1897), U.S. Marine Corps officer, received his commission in 1918 and was wounded in action during World War I. He also served in Nicaragua in 1928, then from 1931 to 1933. During World War II, he was assigned as officer in charge of the supply division, Quartermaster Department, Marine HQ, then executive officer of the Quartermaster Department. Following the War, he served as depot quartermaster at Depot of Supplies and chief of the supply branch at Marine HQ until his retirement in 1953.
