Day, Norman D., 1932-2002.

Norman Day taught Architecture and City Planning at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Fine Arts and served as the Chairman of the Urban Design Program. He combined teaching and professional practice throughout his career. He became Director of the newly established planning and development division of the Kling Partnership, Kling Planning in 1970. From 1977 to 1984, Day was a principal in the partnership Kopple Sheward & Day. He returned to private practice under the name Norman Day Associates, and in January 2002 he joined his firm with McCormick, Taylor & Associates.
