Survey Applications Trust

The Survey Applications Trust was set up for two purposes: to survey missionary work overseas and to promote the ideas of Roland Allen. The World Dominion Press was its publishing arm and its titles included the journal, World Dominion (which in 1958 combined with the Christian News-letter, published by Frontier), and the World Christian Handbook . The Trust ceased to exist in 1981 and the GIBS [Grubb Institute of Behavioural Studies] Church Studies Unit was the recipient of the remaining funds. A history of the Trust is described by Kenneth Grubb in a collection of papers, mostly about Roland Allen, under the title Reform of the Ministry .
