Sisson, Richard, 1936-....

Richard Sisson received his B.A. and M.A. degrees from Ohio State University and his Ph. D. in political science from UC Berkeley. He taught political science at UCLA for 25 years at UCLA and served as Department Chair and as Senior Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs. He returned to Ohio State University in 1993 as Provost and Interim President. His publications include: The Congress Party in Rajasthan : political integration and institution-building in an Indian state (1971), Legislative recruitment and political integration : patterns of political linkage in an Indian state, co-authored with Lawrence L. Shrader (1972), and War and secession : Pakistan, India and the creation of Bangladesh, co-authored with Leo E. Rose (c1990).
