UAW Local 525 formerly serviced Studebaker-Packard of Canada. It was organized within the UAW-CIO in 1949 and became affiliated with the Ontario Federation of Labour, and Canadian Congress of Labour in 1959. Now an amalgamated union, Local 525 includes workers from many industries.
