Flanagan, Thelma
Born Thelma Goodbread in 1907; d. 2002; involved in nutrition programs for the State of Florida since the 1930s; strong advocate of the national drive for professionalism in food services; became Florida's school food service director in 1943; served as school lunch consultant to the USDA; president of the American School Food Service Association; chairman of the Southern States Work Conference Committee; author of numerous publications regarding school feeding programs.
