Toor, Frances, 1890-1956

Toor was born in 1890; became a folklorist; publications include Frances Toor's guide to Mexico : compact and up-to-date (1934), Mexican popular arts (1939), New guide to Mexico (c1944), A treasury of Mexican folkways (1947), Three worlds of Peru (1949), Festivals and folkways of Italy (1953), and The golden carnation, and other stories told in Italy (c1960); she died in 1956.
