Darcy, Lynne

A lawyer and activist in the National Organization for Women, Lynne Darcy served as treasurer of Central New Jersey NOW (ca.1970-1971), coordinator of the Central New Jersey NOW Employment Task Force (ca.1970-1973), and as coordinator of NOW's Task Force on Compliance and Enforcement (1973-1976), which was originally called the Task Force on Equal Opportunity in Employment and which was established at the 1966 NOW organizing conference in Washington, D.C. She was also coordinator of NOW's Task Force on Task Forces (ca.1974-1976), and was coordinator of New Jersey Women on Employment, a statewide coalition of New Jersey women's groups, including NOW (ca.1971-1973).
