Murray, Les A., 1938-....
An Australian poet, Les Murray was winner of the 1968 and 1971 Commonwealth Literary Fund Fellowship. In 1976 he was awarded a Senior Fellowship by the Literature Board and was also winner of the C.J. Dennis Memorial Poetry Award. His books of poetry include Seven points for an imperilled star, Lunch and counter lunch, The weatherboard cathedral and Poems against economics.
