Miller-Purdue Experimental Farm

The Miller Memorial Farm was donated to Purdue University in 1938 by Isaiah M. Miller to be used as an agricultural research station. Miller (1851-1941) inherited the land from his father, who came to Indiana around 1838. Miller worked the farm until he donated it to the university. Isaiah Miller was a Rationalist and a Free Thinker, and one of the founders of the Indiana Rationalists Association. He wrote and published poetry expressing his religious feelings.
