Bement, Charles Henry, 1847-1903

Charles Henry Bement, a son of Melissa Russell and Bingham Bement, was born 22 November 1847 in Mishawaka, New Hampshire and died 20 February 1903 in Kanosh, Utah. He married Margaret Annie Prows (1869-1946) on 21 October 1885.

Alice Matilda Bement, born 5 January 1855, was a daughter of Sarah Julia Hill and Bingham Bement. Alice planned to marry William H. Fletcher, but he was killed on 10 September 1874 in a blasting accident in a quarry in Cottonwood Canyon. She was sealed to him two months after his death. She died in Salt Lake City on 5 July 1929.
