Presbyterian Church in the U.S.A. (Old School). Synod of Virginia
Synod erected, 1788; divided into Old and New School synods, 1838, both calling themselves the Synod of Virginia. The Old School synod withdrew to the PCCSA in 1861 and continued in the PCUS after 1865.
