Landscape architecture and park administration professor at Texas Tech University. Born 1931 in Port Neches, Texas. Received the 1983 Diamond award form the Southwest Park and Recreation Training Institute. Member of the Texas State Nature Conservancy board of trustees. Founded the National River and Waterfront Association. Died 1990 in Lubbock, Tex.
