Bolenius, Adolphus William.
On the evening of Jan. 31, 1849, Henry Murray, an engineer on the Philadelphia and Columbia Railway, was killed in a railroad accident in Columbia, Pa. In an effort to financially support his widow and orphaned child, Adolphus W. Bolenius, a prominent citizen of Columbia, solicited a collection. Sixty-five people contributed a total of more than fifty dollars.
