Missionary; born in 1931; graduated from Wheaton College (B.A., 1953; M.A., 1957) and University of Texas, Austin (Ph. D., 1973); worked in Puerto Rico, Haiti, Cuba, Dominican Republic, and Venezuela, 1956-1966, for International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES); general secretary of IFES in Brazil, 1966-1970; worked at Wheaton College with the HNGR program, 1976-1986.
