Elmendorf, Mary Lindsay 1917-
Anthropologist and author Mary Lindsay Elmendorf is best known for her studies of Mayan women in the village of Chan Kom, Mexico, and for her work as a consulting anthropologist in the application of appropriate technology, especially in the provision of drinking water, sanitation, and women's health.
