French, Charles Stacy, 1907-
Charles Stacy French (1907-1995) was an avid skier and mountain climber. He climbed the Matterhorn in 1920. He helped build the Appalachian Mountain Club hut at Franconia Notch, New Hampshire and spent many weekends and vacations camping.
