Norwich University. Academic Achievement Center.
The Academic Achievement Center (AAC) provides students with an opportunity for individualized assistance with many aspects of academic life. Services for students with learning or other challenges are also available through AAC. The professional staff work with students' advisers, instructors and the administration to develop a comprehensive and individualized support system for students. Services are available to students who wish to enhance their academic achievements and are voluntary. The Academic Achievement Center originated in the 1970s with the creation of "special help clinics" in 1972 and a part-time study skills center in academic year 1973-1974. The History, planning, mission file in the collection contains more detailed information on the history of the AAC.
