Fellowship Society (Charleston, S.C.)
Mutual assistance organization, founded 1762, in Charleston, S.C., originally formed to assist the widows and orphans of "mechanics," or craftsmen and well-to-do working-class men of Charleston. The organization remains active today at 370 King St., its home since the early 20th century.
