Huntingdon, Theophilus Hastings, Earl of, 1650-1701

Theophilus Hastings, 7th Earl of Huntingdon (1650-1701), Tory and Royalist politician. Under James II, he held offices of Chief Justice in Eyre South of the Trent, and Lord Lieutenant of Leictershire and Derbyshire. During the Glorious Revolution, he was deprived of his offices and was twice imprisoned.
