Middleton, Oliver Hering, 1845-1864.
The son of Oliver Hering Middleton (1798-1892), he was born and educated in Charleston, S.C. During the Civil War Oliver Hering Middleton the younger served in the Charleston Light Dragoons and was killed in action at Matadequin Creek (Va.) on May 30, 1864.
