Cameron Emmanuel Lutheran Church (Kendrick, Idaho)

The first services were held on Potlatch Ridge by Rev. F. A. Selle in 1887. On August 2, 1891 the church was dedicated and four days later the constitution was adopted. In 1903 the congregation decided to build a new church. In 1909 a new parsonage was built. In 1925 the congregation became affiliated with the Ohio Synod and the church interior was renovated. The parish hall was enlarged in 1930. Golden Anniversary services were held in 1941. The present parsonage was built in 1956.

The present church has been built in a series of steps. A new sanctuary was built in 1964, and the old one was razed. The new plant was dedicated in 1965. In 1984 the facility was remodeled and enlarged, adding a basement and parish unit.
