Mullican, Clark Marion, 1887-1950.
Attorney, judge. Born 1887 near Bristol, Ellis County, Texas. Received law degree from the University of Texas and practiced law in Dallas, Texas, serving as assistant District Attorney, 1913-1914. Served as an officer in the 36th Infantry Division during World War I. Moved to Lubbock, Texas, in 1920 and practiced law with Senator W.H. Bledsoe. Appointed judge of the 72nd District Court in 1923 and later judge of the 99th District Court. Ran for Congress from the newly-created 19th district in 1934, but lost the election to George Mahon. Active in civic groups including Shriners, American Legion and Kiwanis. Died in Lubbock, Texas in 1950.
