Browere, John Henri Isaac, 1792-1834
Sculptor, taker of life masks, and painter. Born in New York City, Browere studied under Archibald Robertson and in Europe. Later, he settled in New York but traveled periodically to take life masks of notable Americans. Browere died in New York City.
