Woodson, Jacqueline
Jacqueline Woodson (1963 - ) is an American author known for such award-winning works of juvenile literature as Hush, The Other Side and Melanin Sun. A prolific writer, Woodson’s books often center on issues (e.g., race, class, gender and pregnancy) that confront young adults in the modern era.
