Lipps, Oscar H.
Oscar Hiram Lipps was born in Fayette, Indian and educated at American University, Harriman, Tennessee. He was a teacher, and entered the U.S. Indian School service in 1898. He served at the Carlisle Indian School, as superintendent of the Nez Perce Agency, at the Chemawa Indian School, and as a field representative of the U. S. Indian Service.
