Antes family

The children of Elizabeth Todd and Archibald McViccar of northern New York included John (b. 1793), Archibald (b. 1795), and Peter (b. 1797). In 1821, John McViccar married Rhoda Townsend (1797-1865); they had one surviving child, John T. (1827-1854). John T. McViccar married Harriet W. Fiske of Fayetteville, New York, with whom he had a daughter, Harriet Townsend ("Hattie") (1853-1917).

Members of the Antes and Benedict families lived in northern New York in the late 19th century, including Evert Antes of Cicero Centre, New York.
