The State Board of Elections receives, reviews, and audits campaign finance statements and makes them available to the public as part of its responsibility to administer the election process and enforce the Election Law and its regulations. Candidates for all statewide offices and their committees are required to file financial statements, and the Board may assess and collect fines for violation of filing provisions.
