A. Margaret Boyd Overseas Fellowship was established after World War II by the Alpha Delta State Chapter of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International to bring women teachers from foreign countries to Ohio colleges and universities for study and research as a means of developing fellowship and promoting international understanding. In 1981 it was incorporated as the A. Margaret Boyd Overseas Foundation.
