Bank of the United States (Pennsylvania : 1836-1841)
When the charter of the Bank of the United States failed to be renewed in 1836, it became the Bank of the United States of Pennsylvania. Nicholas Biddle continued as its president until 1839. (from Dic. Am. Biog.--Biddle,N. )
