Grant, Jesse Root, 1858-1934
Grant settled in California and in the 1890s was an early developer of Tia Juana now Tijuana, Mexico, as a gambling resort. He married Elizabeth Chapman, who was from a prominent family in San Francisco (her father was William Chapman, one of the founders of the California Academy of Sciences).
