James, Arthur Horace, 1883-1973

Arthur James, a resident of Barlow, Kentucky, discusses his experiences during the First World War. Included in the interview are his feelings about the war, his training to be in the ambulance service, the differences in military camps and the changes that occurred following the war. He explains why he served in Panama rather than in Europe. He also discusses the type of work he did after the war.
