Parker, Edward Stone, 1802-1865
Edward Stone Parker was a Methodist lay preacher who in 1838 was selected by Lord Glenelg as a protector of aborigines. He moved to a site in the Loddon Valley and later became a member of the Legislative Council of Victoria.
