Yates, Anita Pohndorff,

Anita Pohndorff was born in 1914 and grew up in the Pohndorff family home at 107 Circular Street in Saratoga Springs, New York. In 1944 she married banker Harry D. Yates. The Yates' were active in the Saratoga Social scene, and spent many summers at the thoroughbred racetrack. The Yates' were also generous supporters of education and the arts. Mrs. Yates, who was granted an honorary Skidmore College degree in 1983, passed away in September of 1991.
