Anderson, Patrick Lee.

Patrick L. Anderson was born March 21, 1959 in Amarillo, Texas. He received a bachelor's degree in political science and a master's degree in public policy from the University of Michigan. He married Madhu Rustagi in 1987, and the union has produced one son. Anderson worked as Associate Economist for the Manufacturers National Bank of Detroit in 1983-1986. In 1986, he served as economic advisor to two Michigan gubernatorial candidates: Richard Chrysler and William Lucas. In 1987, Anderson began his position as Vice President of Alexander Hamilton Life Insurance Company in Farmington Hills, Michigan. He has also worked as an intelligence analyst for the Central Intelligence Agency and as Chief of Staff for Michigan Secretary of State Candice Miller. In February of 1994, he was appointed as Deputy Director of the Michigan Department of Management and Budget. Mr. Anderson is President of the Anderson Economic Group. He has written extensive articles on economic policy, which have appeared in the "Wall Street Journal," the "Detroit News, " and other publications.
