Citizens Gas & Coke Utility (Indianapolis, Ind.)
Citizens Gas & Coke Utility is a municipal public trust created by an act of the Indiana General Assembly in 1935 to provide natural gas to Indianapolis and Marion County, Ind. Consumers Gas Trust Company formed in 1887 as a gas trust, reorganized in 1906 as Citizens Gas Company, and in 1935 as Citizens Gas & Coke Utility.
