In 1973, the offices of the Administrative Vice President and the Financial Vice President were combined to form the office of Vice President for Administrative Services, whose responsibilities now include the Computer Center, Dept. of Personnell Services, Dept. of Physical Plant and Operations, Dept. of Public Safety, Office of Auxiliary Services, Office of Facilities Planning and Construction, Office of Financial Services, as well as Research Park.
