Texas Rape Prevention and Control Project

Non-profit organization incorporated in 1974 to establish a statewide rape prevention and awareness program. The Project provided public service information, training programs for police, prosecutors, counselors, and medical personnel, and technical assistance to state rape crisis centers. By serving as a clearinghouse for rape information in the state, the Project aided in improving the reporting, prosecution, and conviction of rape in Texas.
