Cameron Club (Alexandria, Va.)
Helen Norris Cummings established the Cameron Club, an Alexandria, Va., women's club, in 1894 and remained its president until at least 1930. The club's stated objective was "the advancement of its members in literature, art, science, and the current interests of the day."
