Gale, Bradford Eugene.

Bradford Eugene Gale (1907-1972) was born in Clinton, Massachusetts. He attended Tufts University and received his AB in 1932, his STB in 1934, and an honorary DD in 1949. He also attended Harvard Divinity School from 1933 to 1935 for graduate studies. In 1934, he was ordained as a Unitarian minister in Lincoln, Massachusetts, and held a ministerial position at the Lincoln Unitarian Church for a year. Gale then served at the First Congregational Society in Salem, Massachusetts, from 1935 to 1958; and at the United First Parish Church in Quincy, Massachusetts, from 1958 to 1971. He was also the editor of Contemporary Accents in Liberal Religion 1960. In 1971, Gale was appointed director of the Office of Deferred Giving at the Unitarian Universalist Association. He died in Boston, Massachusetts, at the age of 64.
