Michigan Travel Commission
The Michigan Travel Commission is the policy and advisory board for the Michigan Travel Bureau. In 1994 The Michigan Travel Commission was transferred from the Dept. of Commerce to the Michigan Jobs Commission. The Michigan Travel Bureau was renamed Travel Michigan in 1997. In 1999, Travel Michigan and its advisory board became part of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. The MEDC manages the "Pure Michigan" brand.
